Before Beloit

Played football (heavily involved in it) with the goal of playing it in college.

Chose Beloit to play football with my twin brother and for its strong academic record.

“Each year I always had milestones in mind for myself. I am a very competitive person so I always wanted to be advancing athletically and academically.”

Year 1

Earned my first Dean’s List Award

"My most important advice to first-year students would be to discover the courses that [you] are talented in. This will lead to successful results in terms of grades, fulfillment, and learning opportunities.”

Year 2

Became a full-time starting linebacker on the football team

Declared Business Economics major and an English minor

Year 3

Accepted into the Duffy Program. My placement was at Hendricks Commercial Properties

Received a summer International Taxation Internship offer from Rodl & Partner.

Earned the Duffy Scholar title.

“During my junior year, Laura Grube informed me about internship opportunities with alumni. One prospective position was at Rodl & Partner and I immediately applied. It was definitely a success.”

Year 4

Became a Teaching Assistant for Accounting

Accepted a full time staff position at Ernst & Young LLP. My speciality is international taxation-transfer pricing.

After Beloit

Work in EY’s International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) practice.

“I was always encouraged by my professors to challenge myself, and my professors also demanded high quality work and results from their students. Beloit’s commitment to high standards and performance mimics that of EY, and that was a benefit in terms of my adjustment to full-time work.”
